Serving our community.
Giving Back
Senah Farm believes in giving back to our community. One way in which we do this is by pledging to give 2% of our annual profits to qualified nonprofits that support our environment and to grants which allow young farmers and students to learn about science-backed farming practices. If you are a nonprofit or a student or young farmer with a need, please reach out to us at operations@senahfarm.com to discuss becoming a part of our annual giving.
Learning
Senah Farm offers tours to our customers and community members so that they can learn where their food comes from and how our practices enhance the global environment. Transparency in agriculture is important to in farming, and we are proud to show folks how we are farming for the future, one day at a time.
Teaching
When he is not testing soil or moving cattle, you can find owner Jim Hanes sharing his decades of experience with others interested in sustainable farming practices. Dialogue between scientists, farmers, and community members is essential to moving towards healthier food systems and a more holistic environment, and Jim is proud to be a part of that movement. Reach out through the Contact button to request more information about having Jim come speak.
